Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SketchSystem, operated by KameHouse Dev Studio (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SketchSystem.

The service

SketchSystem is a web application for practicing system design with an AI coach: freeform and structured whiteboards, graded challenges, and related features. The service may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.

Accounts and guest mode

You may try SketchSystem as a guest with limited daily AI turns. Creating an account (via GitHub or Google) lets you save sessions and receive a higher free-tier limit. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your OAuth provider secure.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Abuse, disrupt, or attempt to bypass usage limits or security
• Use the service to generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Reverse engineer or scrape the service in a way that harms availability or violates these Terms
• Resell or provide unauthorized access to paid features to others

We may suspend or terminate access for violations or abuse, including attempts to evade AI turn caps.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid “Pro” plans are offered on a subscription basis (currently $15 per month or $129 per year, unless we display different prices at checkout). Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from your dashboard (“Manage billing”). Fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we choose to issue a refund.

Pro includes a higher daily AI turn limit (currently 500 turns/day unless we communicate a change) and other features described on the pricing page. Limits and features may evolve; material changes will be reflected on the site.

AI content disclaimer

The AI tutor can make mistakes. Outputs are for learning and practice only — not professional, legal, or employment advice, and not a guarantee of interview outcomes. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any designs or explanations before relying on them.

Your content

You retain ownership of diagrams and text you create. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate SketchSystem (including sending relevant context to our AI provider to generate responses). Shared links you enable may make a snapshot of a session viewable by others with the link.

Our intellectual property

SketchSystem, its branding, software, and challenge content (excluding your user content) are owned by KameHouse Dev Studio or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute them except as allowed by these Terms or with our written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KameHouse Dev Studio AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR PRO IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50).

Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
