Privacy Policy

Who we are

SketchSystem is operated by KameHouse Dev Studio (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use SketchSystem at sketchsys.com and related domains, and how we use it. For questions or privacy requests, email hello@kamehousedevstudio.com.

Information we collect

• Account data. When you sign in with GitHub or Google, we receive your provider account identifier and may store your name and email address.
• Session content. Diagrams, chat messages with the AI tutor, challenge attempts, titles, thumbnails, and related session metadata you create while using the service.
• Guest identity. If you practice without signing in, we set a guest cookie so we can meter AI usage and keep sessions on your device until you claim them by signing in.
• Usage metering. Daily AI turn counts keyed to your guest or user identity, used to enforce free and Pro limits.
• Billing data. If you subscribe to Pro, Stripe processes your payment. We store Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and plan status in our database. We do not store full card numbers.
• Technical data. Standard server logs (e.g. IP address, request metadata) may be collected by our hosting providers for security and reliability. We also use Vercel Web Analytics to collect anonymized page-view and traffic metrics (no advertising cookies).

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve SketchSystem
• Authenticate you and persist your practice sessions
• Run the AI tutor (diagram critique, coaching, and drawing)
• Enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
• Process subscriptions and manage billing
• Respond to support requests

Service providers

We use third parties to operate the product, including:

• Auth providers — GitHub and Google for sign-in
• Anthropic — AI model processing for chat and diagram assistance (your prompts, diagram state, and related context may be sent to generate responses)
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• Hosting — Vercel (web app and Web Analytics), Railway (API/database), and optionally Cloudflare R2 for thumbnails and exports

These providers process data under their own privacy policies as needed to deliver their services.

Cookies and similar technologies

• ss_guest — guest identity for unauthenticated practice
• ss_user — API session cookie after you sign in
• Auth.js cookies — authentication session managed by our web app

These cookies are necessary for the service to function (identity, metering, and signed-in access).

Retention

We retain account and session data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Guest sessions remain associated with the guest cookie until claimed or expired. Billing records are kept as required for accounting and fraud prevention. You may request deletion of your account data (see below).

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email hello@kamehousedevstudio.com. You can cancel a Pro subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal from your dashboard (“Manage billing”).

No sale of personal data

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

SketchSystem is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
